Terracotta: draw this now
Green: what you’ve already drawn
A six-step guide and a big christmas candle to colour in. Use plain A4 paper and choose “fit to page” when printing.
Draw two tall sides and join them with a soft curve at the bottom.
Add a narrow oval across the top of the candle.
Draw a wavy wax edge with two long, rounded drips.
Add a short wick and a teardrop flame above it.
Draw a wide shallow dish beneath the candle, then a small foot.
Draw a star on the candle and a few short rays around the flame.
Try a different colour, add a snowy background, or turn your drawing into a card for someone you love. It doesn’t need to look exactly like ours.
